re: Tell the truth, do you ever hope your kid's team loses so you can get home?

If the kids were competing and enjoying themselves then no. When they were being whiney arse little shits then I couldn't f'n wait to high tail it out of wherever.

Not necessary to “boil” at any time. 190-200 degrees is plenty.
Glad to see this tidbit. I felt like I needed to get it back to a rolling boil, but also figured if I did that they would end up overcooked.

Always thought she was a butterface but I'd still get out the rubber sheets and the gerbil for her.
re: Should I be worried about my cholesterol?
Posted by ConfusedHawgInMO on 4/23/25 at 11:38 am
I took Crestor 20 MG daily for maybe 6 months. Cholesterol dropped from 220 ish to 160 ish, but I ached like hell, hips, knees, ankles, seriously walked around like an old bull rider. Dropped back to 3 days a week and the pains went away dang near within days. Eventually dropped down to 2 days a week and still hovering in the 160s without any problems.

Unlimited peaches and cottage cheese all day though.

The truth is that too many troublemakers just started hanging out there in droves. I'm saying this in the nicest way possible.

I'm old with low standards and still don't find her attractive.

re: Colonoscopies. Yes or no?

I pooped in the box about 5 years ago. Decided I needed the real thing & had a colonoscopy about a month ago. It wasn't so bad really. A little piece of mind. It was a day off work and a little pampering from the wife no pics.

Boomer have this thing called asset allocation.
re: Travel Ball
Posted by ConfusedHawgInMO on 4/7/25 at 2:30 pm
I'm going to guess something less evil. The coach told batter to swing if he sees the runner take off. Runner took off after the pitch, kid not wanting to get benched did what he was told and swung the bat.
Travel ball still sucks.

I'm in Poplar Bluff MO. We've had businesses shutting down early, schools either cancelled or let out early. We just got hit with a tornado a few weeks ago. Gonna be a fun next couple hours.
