The shooter lit up over 20 cars and then ran through rouses. In the commotion they escaped with everyone fleeing the store.
Boogie Montrell is definitely not some obscure comedian. He was really making a name for himself.

Murder is a near daily occurrence in NOLA, but this one is going national and will further expose the utter failure of the city and its leaders.

Currently 255 murders on the year. This would make 256. No reason not to believe it will top 260 by the end of the year. That's 43 more than last year at this date.

The shooting happened, but haven't seen 20 cars shot up or the comedian being named.

WDSU reporter confirming
Another woman on Facebook is the one who said 20 cars were shot up including hers and NOPD wouldn’t release her car so she had to walk home. Don’t want to link her post though but she posted pictures of the damaged cars including hers.

“Be careful out there! I was minding my business, doing some last minute grocery shopping at my neighborhood Rouses. All of a sudden, everyone starts running toward me saying to get out of the store. Apparently they thought someone was shooting in the actual store. I attempted to run, tripped and then made my way through the deli, over a barricade and to the outside. No one knew what was going on. It appeared that things calmed down, so I went back in, (I needed these groceries) , checked out and the cashier said someone was shot in the parking lot and a bunch of cars had their windows shot out. After waiting in the cold for a while, they let me see my car and take things out, but my car is stuck there until they finish the investigation. I walked home in this literally freezing weather so thankful to God that I was not in the parking lot at that time. I also pray for the poor man who was killed so close to Christmas. Just be safe out there! I never thought that I would be in a situation like this! Even though you think you can mentally prepare, I don't think you can!“
