Do you frequent Buc-ee's or is it too much of an inconvenience to fight the traffic and lines?

I go about once a month because it should be convenient and I regret it every time.

I don't live 10 miles, but yes I would especially for my diesel. Good diesel prices and you don't have to fight semis for pumps.

The one in Melissa, TX is busy but there aren't ever lines or traffic issues.

For the life of me, I can’t understand the bitching about this. I have never waited or been annoyed by “traffic” at a Bucees. I’m not really sure what yal are referring to as traffic.

You expect that place to be vacant every time you go?

I've been inside twice. A few times I have needed to kill some time, so I cruised the parking lot and watched the redneck swarm. It is amazing people watching.

I've only been to one twice so correct me if I'm wrong, but it's not like they have great prices on stuff. Their hot food is very good, but expensive as shite. It's just a tourist trap

Who drives 10 miles away to get gas? That would be like living in the CBD and driving to Kenner for gas.

I did in Texas. About 3 miles from a massive one. We would go during the week from time to time but never ever on the weekends. We avoided it most of the time though.

Dropping in and out on my way to Dallas isn't a long drawn out process honestly. I feel like those here who complain about the crowds have only been while traveling to or from the redneck riviera on a weekend or on the 4th of July. Am I wrong? Buc-ees in Texas isn't hard to conquer.

Couple times a month.

Good diesel prices.
DEF at the pump
Good car wash
I like the beef jerky
Cheap entertainment for the grandkids.

And the ice is cheap.

I’ve only been to Buc-ee’s a handful of times but I’ve always been able to grab my stuff and check out with a cashier immediately. Never had to wait in line.

I almost never go to the Buccees in Katy. OTOH, stop at the one in Hempstead almost every time I go to College Station.

Always busy but no problems getting in and out.

Too much of a hassle if I just need to get gas. I ain’t fighting all that white trash just to get a tank of regular.

Now if I have a hankering for a breakfast burrito- much different story.

Buc-ee's is the cleanest gas station to use the restroom in the nation,
