We have a condo in Auburn within 10 miles of that new Buc-ee’s. My kids love it, especially late at night.

CAD, you don't have one close to you. What bad experience have you had?

I'm within that range of the Leeds, Al location. I've been in there once. Normally, if I'm in that area, I'll go to the gas station across the street from it. It's always a damn zoo. About like trying to get gas at Costco in Hoover on a Sunday.

I buy most of my gas there but I go around 6:30 a.m. when its not very crowded at all. I NEVER go inside. It makes me want to fight every time I do.

You expect that place to be vacant every time you go?
The only ones I've seen that are too crowded are the 2 in Houston and San Antonio. The rest are pretty easy to manage.

Wife and I retired to Gulf Shores about 5yrs ago. She's a Jersey Girl so her people from up north always wanna hit the store at I10 and Foley Beach Express when they come down...
Mix a big drink in the Stanley walk around and just watch...

The OT thinks Buc-ee’s coming to your city is a sign that you’re the next Silicon Valley.
I’ve never seen a place so excited over gas stations.

I'm 1.7 miles from one, and I go about 3 times a week. Never any trouble with lines or traffic.

Used to go there for corn to feed the "pets"...they got bad shipment and quit carrying it. Used back entrance from Loxley, avoided the crush.

We actually live about 10min from beach in Bon Secour...
Love it, great place to retire. Be as active as you want or sit pool/beach side with a drink and enjoy life.
We love local beaches but prefer Johnsons Beach in Perdido for our go to.

There's one about 30 miles outside of Lexington. I've not been to it once. One of these days I'll go just for the hell of it.
