Sushi - I will eat it, and I am open to the idea that elite sushi would change my mind. I also respect the craft. But it just doesn't do anything for me.
Raw oysters - Somewhat similar.
I agree with others on whiskey, for the most part. I'll order a neat whiskey or scotch on rare occasion, but it never really "took" for me as something to become a fan of.
Obviously not universal, but raw onions+cilantro just overwhelms any food item for me. I'm not repulsed by them, mind you.

I agree with you on bourbon/whiskey.
I've tried so many times.

It’s an acquired taste. If you drink small enough sips, and you are acclimated to the alcohol it doesn’t all taste the same.

I’ve been to Kuala Lumpur on several business trips, it’s a great melting pot of Asian cuisine. I gain five pounds every trip eating on the company’s dime. I love Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Filipino food. But Indian curry makes my stomach turn, I can’t be in the same room as curry.
