Yep, unless this guy was a fleeing homicidal maniac, just move and let him go.

facts as to why a black man was shot do not matter...just that a black man was shot

Especially the police. This happened in Portland last year....not a shot fired...wonder what the difference was?

Woman rams police car with car

...by the logic of some on this board, she should have been shot too, but someway...somehow....the police didn't shoot...better yet, based on the video, they didn't even have their weapons out.

They will NEVER be honest, objective, or even-tempered in their analysis in any of these cases of black men being shot by the police. Agitators and pseudointellects like Gary Chambers, Shaun King, etc will continue to manipulate and sensationalize in order to stir up anger and resentment in their mass audience to further their agenda. It's as sure as the sunrise.

I will say there is a legitimate question to be asked as to whether or not we should offer carte blanche for police to open fire into a car full of occupants even if they back into a squad car. Bitut of course everything has to turn into a racial clusterfrick where the truth and context is manipulated and the legitimate concerns fall by the wayside and get overshadowed by the lies and manipulations.

Let me see.

1. Yarber was sentenced to four years probation last year for child abuse and/or endangerment, and resisting or obstructing a peace officer.
2. He was sentenced to 487 days in prison after he was arrested in August 2011 after he aimed a shotgun at a group of people and then fired into the sky.
3. A Barstow man who escaped authorities after being arrested Thursday was on the loose and considered to be possibly armed and dangerous.
4. Police arrested Diante “Butchie” Yarber at approximately 11:55 a.m. for being a felon in possession of a firearm and a parole violation.
5. Officers tried to stop the Mustang, hoping to question the driver, Yarber, in connection with a recently stolen vehicle, the Sheriff’s Office said. But the Mustang suddenly reversed, striking a patrol car, and then drove toward officers and hit another patrol car.

sounds like a great father.

Why are you white knighting for him? Is he your nanny?

It doesn't.

You're just selectively pulling cases to support your bias.

Example

Probably police policy

Both sides are lying. There was no attempt at murder of LEO. He smashed into their cars in an attempt to get away. All they had to do was move away from the cars.

There is so much wrong with this statement.

Do we really want police letting all the criminals go just because they tried to get away?

What would be the point of even having police then?

There was no attempt at murder of LEO.

Bull shite. This happen in zachary not even a month ago.

Zachary police officer killed in hit-and-run outside Baker Walmart

obey and comply.

99.99999999% of All these cases would be avoided. If you obey and comply.

If the officer is being a dick and hardass, then take him to court after. When you are still alive.

its that damn simple people.

Jesus you liberals are pathetic. Every situation is different. Hey, here’s a white guy killed by cops for brandishing a B.B. gun. Where is the OUTRAGE?!?!?!!

So was the car full of people or not?

Horrible move to unload on that many people.

If he was by himself, then unload every round you have(if he's actually trying to murder you and you have a clear firing line).

The video of cops shooting the guy on the ground in that hotel hallway is probably the worst police shooting instances I've seen.

Nobody cared, though.

Sorry someone died, but when it comes to the media spin and the racial outrage, virtue signaling, I give no fricks.
