It takes a lot of weed to tolerate living on the westbank.

Without passing judgment on the weed smokers, I have to admit I’ve been shocked at the constant flow of business through the brand new cannabis store on Carrollton by the public library and blocks away from two elementary schools.

It’s like a water, bread, toilet paper, and gas store right before a hurricane. It’s as if the whole neighborhood is nothing but pot smokers now.

For comparison, if you had one alcohol sales outlet across the street from every legal weed sales outlet, and that was the only place to buy alcohol legally the stores would be twice the size of a Walmart with 100 checkout lines, and the parking lot would be packed every minute they were open. The stores would look packed like Christmas Eve.

I like the Kenner location as it's a drive thru. The best looking inside is the Uptown one on Carrolton. They have everything under glass with a magnifying lens. So you can look at the strain first.
The metairie on is the most packed. Always a long line.

Bunch of fricking retard liberals laying around high, playing PlayStation, and bitching about how rich people should pay more taxes.

Maybe so, but weed stores aren’t exactly hard to find around here anymore.

And some wine stores have closed. Not enough business to go around. Pot sales are definitely trending upward and booze downward.

What has our society come to? Now that we have an explosion of people smokin’ the devil’s lettuce and downing the gummies and everything else we have crime going up! The Louisiana Sherrifs were right!

Legalization is great because it makes it so obvious to the youth that only degenerates, slobs, and losers use weed. I think you’re going to see a huge decrease in weed use among the youth.

^^^ this...Alcohol sales are dropping every year. Started after covid, Gen X leaned into the booze and everyone younger started pills and pot. Major US distributors are losing market share to pot every year and they are scared.

Alcohol lobby is also fighting the THC drinks hard. The farm bill legislation from 2018 sunsets in November and the booze lobby doesn't want it renewed. They aren't currently taxed like booze either.
