It's a funny Wikipedia article, but it's widely suspected to be completely fictional, and if you look at the top of the Wiki article you can see it's been nominated for deletion.
This genealogist thinks the whole Wiki article is BS. It's seemingly based on a conflation of the term blackamoor (a common term at the time to refer to sub-Saharan Africans) with the last name Blackmore. (A Scottish last name.)
