quote:no - this case is bizarre - there are other post partum cases we never hear about - why is this one everywhere - and since it’s on almost everyone’s radar and NOW a mistrial - this isn’t going to go away
And now you’re implying that he’s doxxing himself.
To an extent I am glad it’s bringing awareness to post partum depression- but it’s not an excuse for the crimes committed. Hopefully this will make women realize they can get help if they need it, and that providers will become more aware of this need.
I don’t know what that juror was thinking - that woman needs to be committed. Whether or not he was standing up to rabid lunatics is a good question.

You’re right - because this stand out juror did something as patriotic, noble, and heroic as those who have earned the Medal of Honor.
I’m using an extreme example to demonstrate the idiocy in the logic of your argument.

Especially because it's not a postpartum case. The defense lawyer inserted that after the murders. She wasn't diagnosed with postpartum depression or psychosis

of course this is an assumption but all the armchair jurors here are also making assumptions
They're making educated assumptions. Your first post in this thread was an assumption based on nothing. "maybe he's racist" you said.
the "armchair jurors" you're talking about are judging him based on his actions. He stopped a killer from going free. You're judging him based on what he may or may not be thinking.

No, you have to strangle your 3 kids to get that title bestowed upon you by women in America.

its been a long trial; those women on the jury who are still fertile have synced up by now

So she was having mental problems before the murders, it may not have been ‘postpartum depression’ but it was something. Name of the diagnosis is irrelevant- she was having mental episodes- she didn’t get the help she needed although sought - and she killed her kids. Is she guilty - yes, but she was obviously struggling with something. That doesn’t excuse the murders, and she should be punished, but painting her as a headless murderer didn’t quite work out for the prosecution.

It wasn't postpartum although the suggestion that it was has hijacked empathy so badly that it obliterated compassion for and justice in the name of the children and husband.
We all have struggles. She qualified however as enormously lucky.
Every person who commits a crime probably suffers from something because every person who doesn't commit atrocities also experiences depression, pain, sadness, and anger. These are the parts of human life that we have to endure and hopefully don't inflict on others.
However much she is imagined to have suffered in the eyes of her advocates I don't see it. I hope it is there because it would imply greater humanity than her actions demonstrate. But whether or not it exists it doesn't mitigate the damage she caused or render her future self safe for release into a society of her potential victims.

I didn't know hector was a verb. I'm familiar with the latino creeps and subsequent haircut on white kids from Ditchtown. Are they related?

You have to forgive them. The thought of being able to murder whoever they please and get away with it has them really really excited. This is every progressive's wet dream.

I guess that could be a possibility, but I tend to look at the glass as half full instead of half empty. I try to see the good in people. I hope that this guy had good in him when he was the holdout for a verdict that the crazies wanted.

They'll never get a conviction in a state full of left-wing lunatics. I can hope..

I have stated several times that I think she should be in jail. I don’t call for the death penalty because Massachusetts doesn’t have that option and I don’t believe in it. She should sit in a straight jacket in a jail cell with the pictures of her dead children in front if her. (This isn’t the first time I’ve said this)
Calling the hold out juror a hero is premature, and that’s what I’m arguing. We have no idea where this case will go now.
