He's selling them for $100 a pop?

Yeah. That's fine.
But that isn't what is happening here, or we would have had threads about all the other absurd iterations.
Which is why I asked you why you didn't start threads about the cyber punk robot Spiderman.
Hmmm I wonder what could be the difference here. No it couldn't be bizarrely pigeonholing the sexual preferences of a character.

Marvel comics current creative teams are SO bad that they are farming out content to social media
This is hilarious.

I don’t know if that is a factor in comic book sales being in the toilet.
I think it's in response to comic sales being in the toilet. Comic book sales have been bad for a long arse time. The only reason DC and Marvel still exist is because they sold off substantial portions of their IP to movie studios back in the 90s and 2000s.
You can certainly argue that it's a terrible response to toilet level sales, but from my limited understanding the sales have been toilet level loooooong before things got woke

several of the different Spider-Men have been established as hetero, so

Japanese manga continues to crush American comics.
Why the US comic industry doesn’t follow their methods is beyond me.

There are apparently comic book fans that are upset about the Spiderverse being cheapened
Yeah the Spider-verse has definitely jumped the shark at this point. It's completely absurd and they keep going back to the well with it.

What up bitches! Finally got that handicapped super hero representing.. And she is a lesbian.
Why do you have "lesbian woman" in the title? That's redundant.

Manga, in some cases, has been continually in print for decades without a reboot or renumbering.
Golgo 13, for instance, has been published continually since 1968, even surviving the death of its creator in 2021. It never even had a hiatus until Covid in 2020.

Got have something to bitch about, although if this alternate Spidey is paraplegic then not sure how useful they can be fighting unless they got some Iron Man tech or something

I didn't think they could make me rather watch she-hulk, but damn I think they just did.

Somehow, they are doing what US comics cannot do.
Be incredibly successful.

Not all lesbians are women just like how now men can also give birth.

Have sales gone down to this response? If you are looking to expand your audience you include different types of people to include.
The loyal readers will not stop reading because of this so it doesn't seem like a big risk on their end and it gets more attention. This thread is an example of it.
Im not sure why people are outraged because a company is trying to increase profits.

The supporters of the comic book industry have always, and will always, be the younger male demographics who want to see masculine males and feminine females in wild fights.

It helps if those "different types of people" buy your product.

The loyal readers already stopped reading.

So you’re saying loyal readers stopped reading the Amazing Spider-Man because a separate comic exists?
This isn’t replacing Spider-Man.
