Apparently having a lesbian spider man in a wheelchair is just whatever to the left.

How people don't recognize the absurdity in this is absurd

when adding the context that these are also part of the multiverse, yeah, I'd say that is kinda tame

included Spider-Requiem, a puppeteer who uses her skills in battle, the Spinster, a French-revolution-inspired take on Madame Web, and V, a cuber-punk robo Spidersona from the year 2077

not to mention the Spider-Pig

Stupid part? They actually did a biracial (black / Jewish) Black Panther named Kasper Cole in the early 2000s.

The "moderate" nihilist bots in here are using a lesbian handicapped Spiderman to dunk on OP. The concept described in OP is a textbook example of cheap, token intersectionality and it's commandeering an icon that already existed in American art for 60 years.

Rather than acknowledging how absurd that sounds, and how apt an example it is encapsulating the decline of art/entertainment in America, they immediately grasp at muh Breitbart, muh ok Boomer

It's really amazing what lengths they'll go to to drive home their point that nothing matters

Jesus Christ what a bunch of pretentious drivel, climb out of your own arse bro

We’re laughing at OP because everything I know about “woke” culture I learn from him and his ilk posting it here. It’s like he and OML and others have an alarm and a sweeping search set for anything that is fringe LGBT culture so they can come here and pretend to be shocked/outraged by it and hear lemmings like you spout off about the “decline” of American culture.

Spider-Ham was a parody that started at the height of parodies being the in thing in 1983. Back when SNL and Weird Al were at their peak for doing parody comedy.

Are you saying that a gay handicapped Spider-Woman is a parody?

There are apparently comic book fans that are upset about the Spiderverse being cheapened by the multiple Spidermen being introduced. Someone linked a video earlier in this thread with some guy calling it all out.

Oh is that it?

Wokeness is only theoretical right wing propaganda and it's only emanating from conservative websites. Interdasting.

And yet here we have you and your fellow neckbeards, ready to respond with the same boring "ackchually it doesnt matter lmao boomer. Tucker!" replies, almost like clockwork. Need to dunk on the tradcons as much as possible even if it means debasing yourself by defending the hilarious absurdity depicted in the OP.

Yeah. That's fine.

But that isn't what is happening here, or we would have had threads about all the other absurd iterations.

Which is why I asked you why you didn't start threads about the cyber punk robot Spiderman.

im not going to comment on how this is a cycle of the right turning into snowflakes and crying about everything as did the left about 8 years ago, or how this is a fan made character (albeit a fanbase of probably 1), or how absurd the character is in general and kind of seems like an inside joke by the actual submitter just to see what they could bait marvel into doing......

but what the hell are the artists even doing here? shes crippled, how da fuq can they even explain how that pose is working. her legs should be flapping behind her like the useless noodle's they are.

Unless I’m mistaken, that one didn’t get her own comic storyline.

They were a background cameo.

Doesn't marvel have like 80 different versions of all of their main characters?

I don't read comics at all but I'm pretty sure that's been their MO for at least a couple of decades now if not even longer.

I thought that too.

Scruffy can’t help but think of Joe Swanson from Family Guy.

True.

I don’t know if that is a factor in comic book sales being in the toilet.
