Our last home was for sale for a year so it was hard to plan. Then it sold all of the sudden and the buyer asked us to be out in like 30 days. We didn't make it in time but I negotiated us paying a month of their rent to give us more time.

nobody is selling and giving up that low interest loan. It's slim pickings if your looking to buy

Just sold a home and did a lease back for a couple of weeks so the kiddo could finish the school year.

The drag is we left that house in better condition than when it hit market and we will likely never see the security deposit.

We were prepared to VRBO on a month to month if need be, but we ended up finding a place.

Same. We closed on the old house and had all of our shite loaded up on trucks waiting to close on the new one a few hours later. My wife did ask me what we'd do if the guy didn't show up

We lived with my mom for a month until we closed on the new house and gave me a little time to fix up the kitchen and baths before we moved in

Great little motels on Airline. Curious as to how fast to close on a new home. From buying to keys.

My daughter and SIL just sold their house and couldn't find the perfect upgrade. They are living with the in-laws as their perfect home is built. They love it now (help with cooking, help with the toddler, no bills) but i'm sure that will change over the next few months. I'm praying for no construction delays...

how did you value it for $

was it hard to compare to something to value a house rental by the week?

Market is about to tank, rent a house or buy something dirt cheap

I can’t even imagine trying to sell my house in BR right now. My interest rate is 2.62%.

I'm in my 3rd house and was already looking just before I put my previous homes up for sale.

I had actually put in a predicated offer on the second and current house I'm in and luckily for me the timing worked out fine for both.

I sold my first and second homes pretty quickly and was able to move into the next house the same day I moved out of the one I sold.

Went from renting a house to buying one. Stayed at my parents’ house for a week or so. I’m lucky they are still around and so supportive.

Look around and see what is available on a short term basis.
