Moisanite. Looks just like a diamond. Jewelers can't even tell until they put it under a magnifying glass. Costs 1/10 the price of a diamond.

You needed to read that book to know they were bullshite?
Man can make the same quality diamonds as nature. They put them in saw blades and shite

Yeah, I think that's what she suggested. I was angling for a precious gem but she said that would be better instead.

Buy her a moissanite, tell her it's a diamond.
You're welcome.

Correct, as is the wedding industry and the funeral industry.

Or, just don’t get married.

For industrial applications, manmade diamonds are in many cases superior to natural diamonds. Mostly because the properties can be controlled/altered when they are “grown” in a lab. We have been using manmade diamonds for drill bits, lasers, etc. for 50+ years.
But manmade “gemstone-quality” diamonds are a relatively new occurrence and they still take months to manufacture. Natural diamonds would be cheaper if the prices weren’t controlled.

Yeah... until the time comes when she happens to let a jeweler put it under a magnifying glass, or a diamond tester, only to be extremely embarrassed at the outcome in front of her friends.
You may think this situation is impossible, but it does happen whether purposeful or not.
You think that's a chance worth taking?

I posted this the other day, you dolt.
You, being you...simply took my insights, read a synopsis of an actual book, and then tried to pass it off as if you had actually read a book and were providing interesting information.
Credit me for giving you the idea and all will be forgiven.

Did it not occur to you that perhaps a book titled “Everything is bullshite” could in fact itself be bullshite?
Or do you just believe everything you read?

I thought this was one of those things everyone knows, but we still waste money on it because we like to get laid.
