You will meet someone who also likes that hobby.

Ballroom dance lessons.
Kayak club.
Hiking club.
Golf.
Pickleball.

Do you have a dog? If so, join one of those dog bar places and just start hanging out there with your dog. If you are reasonably nice-looking, ladies will probably approach you to ask about your adorable golden retriever (or whatever). With a dog, you aren’t that creepy guy hitting on women. Instead, you’re Scout’s dad who usually enjoys a cold beer on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Become a regular there. Get the know the other regulars. Be open-minded and realistic. Don’t dismiss someone who may want to be just friends or who may not seem attractive enough initially. She may have friends to whom she can introduce you. Also, a good personality can actually make someone seem more attractive once you get to know that person.

I agree with others who suggested hobbies. Friendships where there is a common interest can sometimes become long-term relationships with a solid foundation.

Aren't the women on these apps mostly chasing the top 10% of men? It's terrible for an average dude to be on these apps. The average woman doesn't want the average guy on these apps. They're still chasing the top % of men. Get out and meet women the old fashioned way.

Just like every else in the world, dating apps used to be better in the past. I had pretty good success on them. Bubble was the best one. Seemed like it had the classiest broads on there and girls felt safe because they had to talk first so they didn’t get bombarded with cock pics.
