I just looked it up and the overnight numbers were not as bad as I expected. Could be the beginning of a curve flattening, could be nothing. It’s not bad news though which I’ll take at this point.

Yeah there is no “stopping the virus” for 6-8 months at the absolute minimum.
If we can start opening things back up after 8 weeks that would be a huge W imo.

I was expecting a chart. What the frick are you talking about? Are you on of those people who hate to face reality? There are those who overreact and then there are those who ignore the situation or play it down and try to convince themselves nothing is going on because they fear what people are overreacting about. Flattening the curve is buying us time to boost our medical system, and hope that higher temps slow/stops the virus but we need some drastic action on the medic front. I hope the government has a plan to increase capacity and equipment drastically.
OP, I don't know what world you live in but the curve hasn't begun to flatten. If anything it's going to continue to explode as testing continues to ramp up.
