To be fair, he thought he was signing a bill legalizing hair-sniffing.

I heard they had to get him naked pics of his daughter to get him to sign.

How's your sister, with fibromyalgia, handling the news? Triple masking I'd hope.

The reason he was able to do this is because so many patriots did the right thing and got vaccinated. These people truly saved the country.

I look around and still see masked people out and about; I wonder what fear-filled reality they might still be stuck in.

and still see people wearing the mask as a chin protector; while having a conversation with a nurse in the hospital.

Doesn’t mean Ole JB won’t keep extending his own emergency powers. Note the date. There’s a line at the end that says that something is happening for three years straight it’s no longer an emergency, it’s a reality that the state legislature should manage. But of course the dem dominated legislature won’t limit his powers.

Whoever was either benefitting directly from some emergency provision, or someone who's special interests were.

A good time to read through this thread when everyone supported lockdowns

From the date you posted people were already posting they were scared and their offices were closing. A few days later I would get on a plane to Asia for fun. Pathetic.

That might work even though he was on record being unsupportive of this bill. However, since it passed the Senate by a vote of 68-23, it was effectively veto proof.

It's hilarious how many of those people ended up hating the lockdowns and saying the exact same thing just months later.

The fearmongering early on really worked wonders. I can remember not really being in favor of the lockdowns, but I'd try to make our grocery runs at times when very few people were in the stores. My wife was pregnant at the time, and the government had made this thing out like it was an Ebola virus.

Now I look around and feel sorry for anyone still wearing a mask. The fear has completely consumed them, and they may never know normal again as a result.
