Of course people in Livingston Parish can't figure out how to use roundabouts, which are everywhere in the world, and are incredibly efficient and effective.
Of course.
To be fair, the first couple of times using one of these in England was a little bit of a shock, but part of that was driving on a completely different side of the road.
The other point I'd make is a roundabout with a bunch of other people who don't know how to use a roundabout seems like an effing nightmare. Part of the efficiency is everyone understanding it.
The mental image of a bunch of Livingston Parish residents driving in circles is hilarious though.

I'll be the roundabout
The words will make you out 'n' out
I spend the day your way
Call it morning driving through the sound and
In and out the valley

In and around the lake
Mountains come out of the sky and they stand there
One mile over we'll be there and we'll see you
Ten true summers we'll be there and laughing too
Twenty four before my love you'll see
I'll be there with you

I drove through it Saturday night. It definitely needs more signage and lighting.

How about they do some ads on TV explaining how they should work instead of just expecting every idiot drover will just naturally know how to use them?
its a roundabout. If they can't figure it out without instructions, they don't need to be driving.

There was always someone going the wrong way in the inside lane of the north traffic circle in Alex.
The lines being white instead of yellow should be a hint.

There will be a similar article soon for West Monroe residents. We’re getting 6-7 roundabouts I believe. Should be a nightmare with some of these mouth breathers.
Getting some here in Ruston too. These people don't give signals, even when they turn left. A lot of them drive the same speed whether the speed limit is 25, 35 or 45. I know they won't be able to navigate the roundabouts. Every time I used to go up to Branson with my parents, my dad never knew what to do on them.
ETA: This is going to be a lot like when they rearranged everything in Walmart.

They have roundabouts in Hammond, New Roads, Central, and Baton Rouge without issues. Livingston is special.
We have a massive one in Alexandria where 3 major highways intersect and it runs very smoothly.

Here is video of it causing confusion...
Followed by the Aggie going to Corsicana, TX that was on a loop for 4-1/2 hrs and was running low on fuel because he couldn't figure how to get to his outlet street...he whips into a service station and 4 guys run out jack up his car and change all 4 wheels/tires. He tells the head guy that he just wanted some gas.
The head guy responds..."gas hell, get back out there, you're in 2nd place right now dude".

Today they tried adjusting the lights coming from walker to give more time for people to get off of the interstate. Needless to say they fricked that up too. the traffic damn near reached all the way back to Stine.

The correct term is “roustabout”.

I'm not a fan of 2 lane traffic circles with small diameters myself. Always seem to cause issues.

I've gone through it many times, in heavy traffic and light. No one seemed to have a problem with it.

From my experience it seems to be making traffic move smoothly out here.

wrong. The facility was meticulously thought out and designed.....fricking “getting paid”, really?!?!
Do you have any idea how much planning goes into these things?
Years ago when DOTD deployed the updated policies, they had a learning curve for sure. Now, they are very very knowledgeable on the subject matter.
So, what exactly is your profession?

If Hammondites can master it, I’m pretty sure LPers will eventually catch on.
