How about they do some ads on TV explaining how they should work instead of just expecting every idiot drover will just naturally know how to use them?
Are LP drivers incapable of reading signs and markings on the road?

There will be tracks right over the middle of that center island with all of the confused Ford F250 and Toyota Tacoma drivers in the area.
Grass will never be allowed to grow there.

One morning when I was getting off the exit there, the construction sign read "Welcome Home Alcees". I am assuming maybe they dropped in a weekend sobriety checkpoint.

How is this surprising that LA residents cannot figure out a basic traffic element used routinely around the world?
To be fair, most places around the world barely recognize the existence of right and left lanes

No. They just need a little bit more of a learning curve than most places.

What a shock that people like peej can't figure out a traffic circle

Y'all should see the kids here in Oxford. We have two roundabouts about 500 feet from each other and the second one is a double lane. Those frickers will stop in the middle of both lanes while their right blinker is on to let another car through. It's insanity at the beginning of the year.
I lived like 50 feet from one of those roundabouts in Oxford and its always the freshmen, but they get used to it. Sometimes people coming in for game weekends from bumfrick Mississippi have trouble too.
For the most part they work really well.

"I know these roundabouts are supposedly a great way of controlling traffic, and I wouldn't say they're not. But it's not a one-size fits all kind of a deal," Sharp said. "Not every intersection can be helped with these roundabouts."
Aka our drivers are too stupid

Livingston had a hell of a time figuring out the ramp meters about 10 years ago. This is really a lot for them to handle in one decade.

They need to put 3 foot tall concrete poles and hide them with hedges
Some baw will try to act tough and drive right through it and get stuck AF

The construction on the Roundabouts is causing a problem. It's chaotic in its setup and a disaster waiting to happen . I don't know how they got that picture but that is not how the roundabout looked this morning on 447. Coming from the town, you have two lanes which merge with a sign lane merging left. The problem there is you a very, very short merge lane and that left lane becomes the left turn lane. Several issues like that and that won't change until construction is complete.

roundabouts absolutely work....if drivers know how to use them

I was confused a few times.
If you notice the inside lane coming from the top of the photo....once you pass the traffic coming on from the interstate, you're given the option to use either lane. You have to use the outer lane at the point to get to the interstate onramp to the right of the photo. That has been an issue of confusion that I've noticed.
Roundabouts are not difficult but when they are multi-lane and very small diameter like this one, it can be a little stressful.

When they installed the one on LSU campus by the Cox building, I always used to see if I could drive in circles fast enough to halt the flow of traffic.

Roundabouts are great, how do people not get them? You yield in, and exit out like a normal exit.
