19% here. $1291 to $1536. But I qualify for an HSA next year, which is nice

People are going to drop health insurance altogether and use the emergency room it's coming

My plan through my employer went up about 200% per week. $30 to $96. This legitimately has me thinking of not renewing next cycle.

That’s all? frick I will be luck if it’s not 117%

Medical billing and insurance are a complete scam.

HR was thrilled to tell us its only going up 2%. Are we getting a cola to help cover it. Of course not.

Mine went from $900 to $1020 a month for me and one child. Company pays 80% of mine. Yay. Only paying $1300 more a year for worsening coverage.

The overall cost is roughly the same. The taxpayer just isn’t picking up a huge chunk of the check any longer, so you’re feeling more of it.
I know that’s not exactly comforting, as it’s still a brutal slam to be coming out of pocket. But people need to remember that when we were warning people way back when about how bad Obamacare sucked, this is what we were warning y’all about. The only reason these crazy out of pocket cost increases were delayed is because the taxpayer was picking up a huge chunk of the cost for you. That isn’t a sustainable system.
Now it’s time for those lazy frick Republican congressmen to get off their asses and design a system that actually works. No more kicking the can.

What are y'all seeing for 2026 premiums?
Don't care. Four hundred bucks won't make or break me.

I was convinced to switch from our ppo to the consumer plan. The upside is my monthly premium drops from $574/month to $218.

Our deduction is going up 10% and the company is subsidizing the other percentage. They didn’t tell us how much the subsidy is but I’m sure they will lay it out in our yearly “benefits list”. So everyone will take a loss next year bc you know raises won’t be 10%.

quote:Same here. I believe that's due to our union's contract specifying that there would be no change in 2026. Not sure what happens in 2027. Damn sure not coming down, although it was nice to see no rate/coverage change on renewals last month. Actually the first time I've seen that in the past decade or more.
Mine is exactly the same as last year.

In 2016, Trump said the best thing was to abolish Obamacare and the GOP would come up with a great plan, It did not happen. Then Trump said the GOP was going to have a great insurance plan to replace Obamacare in 2 weeks. Then another 2 weeks. It must have been misfiled, probably in the Epstein Files.

You have to pay more so that so many don’t have to pay anything. Don’t you love government.

Mine went up around a point and a half, with my premium (single, early retiree, no other entanglements) rising from $1094/mo. to $1111/mo., so that's fine.
Like several above, though, thank God for the former employer insurance tie-back option until 67 (62 now), or I'd be thrown to the wolf den we call our insurance market.

It's a damn shame watching the Democrats all (talking point) say that the Republicans screwed up healthcare when Obama's name is attached to this disaster.
These people are all filthy rich but act like a bunch of 4th graders.
What ever you do wrong just blame the other guy.
