Live in the heart of it in North Texas. I always say we live in Little India. Neighborhood is probably 15 to 1 ratio of Indians to non Indians. They dont say much and keep to themselves. Doesnt bother me much, but it is obvious.

I think it is doing something but it’s relatively recent and the Indian thing in Texas has been developing over the last 10 years. But if the democrats get back in control of the White House they will remove it.

My experience with indians in the engineering workplace is that they are no better than any American worker no matter how prestigious or advanced of a degree they have

And if you've been paying attention at all you'll find the degrees are fakes from scam universities in India.
You'll also find their level of ability and work is vastly inferior to Americans that actually worked for the degree and have performed or have work experience.
Y'all really need to study up on their culture as well as how they've been following out companies like USAA and FedEx. There's plenty of info out there on these two but there's other companies that suck now or will soon.

I deal with the supply chain and purchasing, they love unnecessary spread sheets
Then deal a lot with Indian small business owners. They aren’t bad people but god damn do they treat vendors like shite come negotiating time. They love to haggle to the point where i am starting 30-40% higher with them than other customers, they end up feeling like they got a good deal but more often than not they don’t
For all the insults and time wasted, I don’t feel bad when they overpay like I would when I stick it do other customers
Then inevitably when the deal is done, they are as friendly as can be. Offer me food, coffee and to meet their family who always works some job in the back office. I am usually so sick of them by then that it is hard to put on a brave face
I had a dude give me some Turkish coffee and pickled eggplant that was actually delicious so it isn’t all bad
