LMAO, I started watching Hernandez's video. In under 1:30 secs in and someone almost backs into her at the Indian Bazaar.

I can confirm this. Fort Bend County Texas is basically a suburb of India. Kind of crazy seeing it.

He's not the politician making the laws that allowed it to happen. You can thank all the Obama voters, even the ones that gave him his third term as President while the dementia patient was living in the White House.

There is no difference in the context of being detrimental to society.

I know a ton of Indians in the DFW area and they are conservative, and most work in healthcare. Hard working salt of the earth people. They came here in the 80s without a dollar to their name and are now proud American citizens.

Schizophrenia rampant in this post!

You boomers seem to have the notion that the concepts are mutually exclusive.

“Because it is a free market, I HAVE to frick over my children, grandchildren, and country.”

Because of your greed and frick everyone else attitude, you will likely push the younger generations into eventually voting to raid your retirement accounts, to the detriment of us all.

Your generation is losing political power and the “frick everyone else, I got mine” attitude has probably made your generation the most despised in history.

But you boomers really never thought ahead or considered long term impacts.

Too simpleminded for complex thought.

As parents, we should aspire to leave behind a world that is better for our country and children, something many of you boomers truly cannot comprehend.

*North Texas* or DFW

Not the case in actual Texas. Sure there’s Indians in Houston but they aren’t taking over like Dallas. They’re just another group of people in HTX.

I hate when people act like Dallas is the end all be all in Texas. Culturally and economically it’s not even the primary Texas metro

Dallas does not represent the entire state of Texas not even close bud

It is quite impressive how the boomers decided to burn everything down on their way out instead of just handing the keys off to younger generations. Trump is doing it as we speak - not a single balanced budget from conservatives in 30 years and debt is greater than our gdp even though republicans own all three wings of the government. I really do feel sorry for what is coming down the pipe for the generation that is in high school right now - they are going to be in a horrible position with dwindling jobs due to technology and their grandparents completely fricking them over.

Damn, that’s the first post I’ve ever seen on the OT that makes Texas sound worse than Louisiana.

I work in the McKinney/Friso area with HOA's and drive these neighborhoods every day.

From what I’ve observed, McKinney has impacted a lot less than Frisco, Plano, and Prosper. My theory is because McKinney schools are ranked slightly lower than schools in those other ISDs.

The H1B situation is ridiculous. The jobs filled by H1B folks are not advertised like normal job openings. Everyone buys into the story that AI is taking people’s jobs away but I don’t believe it. Software development/coding is one of the things AI can do well. Domestic developers are laid off and people shrug and blame AI but the company quietly hires H1B developers to fill the empty positions. Why aren’t H1B coders hurt by AI?

Same thing with customer assistance/call reps. AI is supposedly taking over that area, too, but why do I almost always get an Indian when I call tech support?

Oh it's definitely AI. Just not artificial intelligence. More like another Indian. Our country sold us out for this shite.

I hate to generalize, but yeah, this is a thing. Also a thing with Middle Eastern customers. They don't understand the price is the price, so you always have to start higher and come down to normal prices.
