Oh man, it’ll take way to long to tell all. But, just a few majors... you should be able to imagine the rest.

1) drug addict and all that comes with it.
2) giving all of my wife’s friends detailed instructions for giving the perfect BJ during a get together at our house.
3) having a jealous BF that murdered her roommate (she met both in a rehab)

If I had more time I could write half a novel on this subject.

MIL had access to my wife's bank account in college (not sure why, but she did and wife let it happen). Skimmed money out of it regularly while my wife paid her way through school working and taking out 100k in loans (grad school included). She never wanted to start anything with her mom. We were only dating at the time so it wasnt my place to get involved, but I convinced her to get her own account. If that ever happened now that we are married, I'm not holding my tongue. Id actually like the opportunity. We are still paying off loans while her mom has a 45k car.

When I was dating my wife, my future MiL would bring up ex-boyfriends in front of me, and ask my wife what they were up to. She would talk about how much she liked this one or that one, and question why the relationship flamed out in front of me.

Then she tried another tactic, and started accusing me of controlling behavior, and told my wife that I was going to beat her once we were married. I called her out on this shite to her face, but she'd get sheepish, and then she'd double down.

Bitch ran around on my saint of a FiL, including cheating on him the day of our wedding. Once we were expecting, she said she didn't want to be a grandmother, and pretty much refused to come around anymore.

She divorced my FiL, claimed she was abused, and took a shitload of money from him through the financial rape that is divorce court.

My wife despises her mother, and we haven't seen her in 5+ years. Other than that, she'd great.

MIL loved natty light, used to asked to me stop at store and get her a case every few days.
As she got older my wife would cook for her,but she always bitched about my wife’s cooking. I asked her not to complain about dinner with her mouthful.
I had mucho sex for awhile

Lol.... hard to top, after that it makes anything else seem like normal human behavior.

My long term GF’s mom is a hoarder. She hasn’t been in her parents house for about 7 years.

Opening gifts at Christmas is brutal. Every gift she buys includes a 10 minute story about when she bought it, what coupon she had or what sale the store had.

She literally only cares about shopping and buying things that are a “good deal”. It’s her entire life. It’s sad. She’ll work until she dies or is totally unable because she needs the money to support her shopping habit.

FIL is the Dad I never had, he never had a son so he treats me like the son her never had. We speak almost every day on the phone at least. Spent many, many weekends and all nighters renovating a house together.

MIL drives me absolutely nuts sometimes because she’s so similar to my own mother. Zero filter so whatever she’s thinking just comes out. She has helped us out big time over the years so I put up with her dumb statements sometimes. Never questioned whether either loved me. They’re like if not better than my own parents.

Inheritance issues? Dealt with that with my wife's aunt (after MIL had passed away).

ETA: We had to get a lawyer involved to get the money and now no longer speak with the aunt.
