Tell your crazy mother inlaw stories here

Last week my mil asked me if i could help her move something saturday morning with my truck. I set a time with her and told her no problem. 15 minutes past the agreed time and she doesnt show. i call her, and she says something's come up and we'll have to reschedule. Today she calls me to see if i can help her friday, and when i tell her friday is not good and ask if she is available sunday morning she freaks out and starts yelling at me. She says i babysit your kids and you cant take 2 hours out to help me, yada. Now this crazy bird is sending my wife all kinds of texts. fricking nuts.

Anyone who would throw that out is trashy. No in the OT that's trashy sense, but for real trashy.
If my MIL tried that line on me, it would be the end of her access to my kids. Let's see who blinks first.

My mother in law wore "Ivory" (as in "I don't see what the big deal is, it's Ivory not White") to our wedding.

Same here. My MIL is awesome. She’s helped us so much over the years. FIL is also a great guy. I feel bad for my wife, my mom is crazy and a lot to deal with! Wife definitely got the short end of the deal!

You screwed that all up. You should have set the appointment for Friday as she asked and then just not showed up. When she called, tell her something came up. That was easy, how did you miss it?

Mine is in a urn on the mantle too. She wasn’t too much of an outdoor person so every now and then we sprinkle her on the carpet.
Then vacuum her up.
