Why did teachers with such a work ethic choose a career with every weekend, holiday, and summer off?

Also, in 2011, Elon paid $11 billion in taxes because he actually had to cash out some Tesla stock. People still don't understand how unrealized gains and net worth work.

Every politician that starts talking about anyone paying more money is just looking for a bigger cut. Fix the bullshite and the country has plenty of money. But Israel needs another few billion....

What a fricking joke. Anyone that knows anything about Elon knows the dude never turns off.

He's doing meetings at 11pm and running around like a madman.

Time off and work ethic aren’t necessarily tied at the hip.

Yea I dont want to make this a tax thread. This was more about laughing at thinking teachers have more work ethic than the richest human in history who has built, is building, or advancing these companies

I am told that being a mommy is the equivalent of earning $500 per hour

Yeah I understand. It takes a lot to use the same exams and lesson plans every year and run the test through the Scantron machine.

Covid lifted the curtain on this... kids would still be remote learning if it were left up to a plurality if not majority, of teachers.

That still has nothing to do with your time off statement.

Women demand society treat them like the special ed kid running in fake touchdowns.

Everything they do is so amazing.

I assume by "work ethic" she means "making TikTok videos." And if that's the case, then she is spot on.

So, who do you think has a stronger work ethic? The guy who never takes time off or the teacher who can't wait until Summer break because the past 9 months of teaching have them burnt out?

My wife and I have 4 kids. They are mostly grown now. When they were little, we both worked and we both took care of the kids. If there was ever a weekend where I was going somewhere out of town for something, when I got back my wife would just keep fretting about how glad she was that I was back and how hard it was with all the kids and would call during the weekend while I was gone and talk about how crazy it was or something that was going wrong.

If she had to go for a weekend and I took care of the kids, yes, it wasn't easy, but it was just work. You do what you have to do and we would have fun with it and nothing ever got crazy or out of hand. I wouldn't call her and when she got back, she would make some comment about, how did it go? It is crazy with them all isn't it? And I would say it went fine. All was well.

Women always have the hardest jobs. You know why? It's them, not the job.

The guy who wrote that is getting a dose of what it feels like to be on the bottom of the totem pole

He is so detached from leadership he thinks that Elon Musk is not doing anything, I can’t think of a better way to expose how naïve and how much of a douche bag you are
