Gary doesn't have to live in the realm of actual politics like the mayor. He can afford to be 100% ideological because he has no skin in the political game. His job is to cause outrage and division so he can capitalize on it financially.

If Kip doesn't run, she's probably my front runner.
She's the most willing council member to cross party lines. From both parties. She and Amorosa apparently worked very well together and shared a mutual respect.

Slim is not my favorite person either but he's from BR. AND he is a real thug. Gravy is a carpetbagger. What would he do if he did not try to snake people out of money? He would deliver for Waitr or be an assistant manager at KFC or Burger King. And people think he is a voice to follow.

Kip was better than Broome.
But Kip was a big spender too. The budget has risen considerably under him and like Broome he was pushing for more taxes and more projects each year.
He did hire better people and he had a better administration.
But under Kip's watch police numbers declined to unacceptable levels, and the permitting and inspection fell apart. Any local contractor can tell you that.

I think they legitimately think he has his finger on the pulse of something. I guess because he tells them so. Maybe they don't think he deletes comments criticizing him, and that his facebook feed is actually real life.
Either way, he will continue leading them into an abyss. If you're for St George, Gravy Chambers is truly the greatest tool in the box. Just let him keep going.
