Taco Bell restaurants are pulling fresh ingredients from the menu as a fast-growing parasite outbreak linked to explosive diarrhea spreads across multiple states.
Locations, including some in Metro Detroit, have posted signs telling customers they are temporarily unable to serve several produce items while health officials respond to a spike in cyclosporiasis cases, WWJ reported on Tuesday.
“We are currently unable to sell Lettuce, Cilantro Onion, Pico de Gallo and Guacamole due to a nationwide recall,” the notices say.

It is not clear whether any Taco Bell customers have been sickened by the parasite, according to the report.
The menu shake-up comes as health officials investigate a surge in cyclosporiasis, an intestinal illness caused by the Cyclospora parasite that has sickened nearly 2,000 people across the US.
Michigan has reported 992 cases tied to the outbreak, according to the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services — a dramatic jump from the roughly 50 cases the state typically records each year.

With Taco Bell that's not a flaw it's a feature.

More proof Taco Bell is more dangerous than raw milk.

I always thought explosive diarrhea was to be expected after eating Taco Bell

How do they tell the difference from regular Taco Bell?

Picture is obviously staged because everyone knows good looking girls don’t poop.

Detroit is a very shitty place to be living right now.

Michigan officials first announced the outbreak last week, when they were aware of more than 170 cases — all in the southeastern corner of the state — since June 22. Michigan usually identifies only about 50 cases each year.
On Wednesday, the state reported the number had grown to 992, including about 40 hospitalizations. Just across the state line, Lucas County, Ohio, reported 306 cases as of Wednesday. Northwest Ohio has seen more than 500 cases.

It's always the produce. Remember the sliced onion debacle at McDonalds 2 or so years ago?

Absolutely. That’s part of the charm of the place.

People who get stomach problems from Taco Bell, excluding parasite situations like this, are weak humans.

No squatty potty needed.

Imagine the dream of one day making it as a model. Then you get cast as the explosive diarrhea model who is traumatized by the risk of soiling an ultra clean bathroom.
Oh, and hide your face.
I hope she’s open to learning a trade.

I'd let her explode her diarrhea all over me.
