MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC/Gray News) - A Taco Bell employee was arrested after allegedly throwing boiling water on a co-worker.
Officers were called to the Taco Bell on Knight Arnold Road in Memphis on July 18, according to an affidavit.
When they got to the fast-food restaurant, officers said they spoke with a man who told them he was involved in an incident with his coworker, Makayla Henderson.
According to police, the two were “horse-playing” when she said she was going to burn him. Henderson allegedly walked to the back of the restaurant, grabbed a pot of boiling water, threw it on him, then left.
Henderson spoke to WMC on the phone, saying the man was not working at the time and had been there since early that morning.
She also said he had a habit of harassing her and that the “last straw” was when he took her iPad, hid it, and would not give it back.
“Before you know it, I had blanked out after asking him many times to give me my iPad, right?” she said. “Before you know it, once I blanked out, I was just pouring water on him.”
The man was taken to a burn unit with second-degree burns on his leg and stomach.
Henderson was later arrested and charged with aggravated assault. She was also required to take anger management classes.

Oh well, shite....as long as it was an appropriate reason to throw boiling water on somebody.

Taco Bell loving this.
Finally something besides explosive diarrhea comes up when you google Taco Bell.

I get it. When me and the guys are hanging out and horse playing we throw boiling water on each other all the time. Innocent fun honestly

I dunno. I've never grabbed a pot of boiling water when I was horse playing though.
