The storm will reach you in 23 days..
To be serious, I think it was to give people an idea of where the storm is and where it is going..

I'm having Katrina flashbacks now. Tulane and Memorial running out of fuel for their generators on Tuesday/Wednesday.
I was helpless to do anything for them. It was awful.

I don’t know the water level in laffite but it’s been reported homes are flooding - someone here posted that they had friends or family with water that had to move to the second level so of their home. And I’ve seen reports elsewhere about people there being in their attics. For whatever that’s worth.

Wife’s grandfather lives in Satsuma. Has been in the house for 40 years. Half of his roof is gone.

This is from a guy who works with him.
Can confirm.
Jesus...that's horrible.

No problem. I'm about to have to start working more here in a few days and won't have quite as much time to kill.
Hell, I'm by myself this weekend so all I've done is watch weather.

Yeah, 100% thank you. You speak truth into both of these and I check them daily for your accurate info and takes that you bring into both conversations.

The rumors have already begun. Wife's employee told her that two levees have already failed in NO.

Is there any subject in which you actually have a minimum amount of knowledge? At least to post a coherent thought?
