re: ‘God, you’re hot’ Tennessee school board member says to student during board meeting

didnt he say it when she was done making all of the points she was there to make?
maybe it wasn't about her appearance but about how she did in her presentation of material she was there to present.

Have a 65” Samsung tv that’s probably 5-6 years old. When watching, if the scene is vibrant colors it’s perfectly fine, but if the scenes are dark, or not a lot of light it isn’t very clear at all, and you can see the rings of color changes like the contrast is way off or something. I’ve messed with the settings that I could find, but it didn’t really help. Anyone have any ideas?

The change would affect upward of 1 million workers in New York City currently make minimum wage and struggle to make ends meet.
Wouldn't it, in fact, affect everyone making between minimum wage and 30/hr. Seems like it would be way more than just the million on min wage. The guy making 19/hr, the entry level girl making 24/hr.

probably a terrible question. it always looks like the guns are mounted near the fuselage. Is it on a timing mechanism not to hit the prop spinning out in front? With how fast its spinning and how fast rounds are fired, how does it never strike a prop?

And she said something like people don't understand how much goes into it and the things you have to think about.. like your electricity.
in her defense, she was talking about the location of the house on the 14 acres she owns. having to run underground power all the way to the back of the property is alot more expensive than putting the house near the road. thats what she said she didnt think about.

re: So how many spots are still up for grabs in the playoffs?

On paper no, but in function yes. They took away the automatic spot for a G5 teams in the playoff rules. What they wrote in was instead an automatic qualifier for the 5 highest ranked conference winners. That was before the Pac12 melted down. The intent was to leave the G5 out, but since the Pac12 went defunct, it handed an automatic bid to the smaller conferences.
Pretty sure it was top 6 AQ before PAC went defunct. When they did, it was altered down to 5.

i dont think the shifts are as good as that graph indicates, being that 15 million of the votes in 2020 were fictitious anyway.
still a great trend.

Speaking of that, can someone make a gif of the progression of the cone graphic so see how the cone has changed, or progressed, over the last couple of days. I always like seeing that.
