If you take hwy 90 Waze is having you exit at Amelia to bypass a lot of the slowdown. Zero traffic thus far.

Is the dotted line west of most of these tracks the NHC forecast?

Cuz that would be in line with the wobble plots map showing easterly track forecast

As much as I hate these current pictures and the track they’re showing, thank you for putting them together and please continue to do so

Put my truck in the garage. Chip shortage makes it hard to replace.

Maybe they are thinking the Ridge off to the east will steer it more northwest

Who is Jack Sillin?

I'm just curious because we keep seeing his wobble plot, and it's clearly showing a different path than every other model, and the NHC.

I have a very hard time believing that he has access to info that everyone else doesn't. So is everyone else just ignoring what is happening?

Different from the NHC, but most models have moved more east than NHC track

He's legit.

I don't think the plot Legend showed is lined up right though.

You've gotta up your alcohol intake, baw.

It is the NHC cone overlayed Jack Sillin's "Wobble Plot". He uses the satellite center fix to track the wobbles. He did pretty well with it on Laura last year.

Just listened to the 3PM advisory from SG. The discussion is moving the landing closer to Port Fourchon due to the Northward jog.

The image is the 3PM updated track, which was moved about 15mi east from the 9AM track. I copied the path of the track and moved it to around Port Fourchon.

Coming up Barataria Bay offers much less land resistance in path to NOLA.

Teedy might have to open Superdome.

It isn't. It is just for comparison. It is the best I can do with the difference in size of the graphics.

Shifted east and seems to have strengthened part of its NW eye wall and wind. But we still have a long way to go.
