Don't think for a second universities are not weighing a potential student athletes social media influence when considering scholarship offers. This is happening in womens sports and some of the less popular mens sports.
For example, a school would be more inclined to give a golfer with less talent but more social media followers a scholarship before the more talented, unknown, golfer. It's cheap marketing.
With that said, I'm all for what that girl is doing and has done. She's smart, talented and beautiful.

Talented enough to compete as a freshman on an elite college gymnastics team is seems an accomplishment more than anything you or yours has done. Becoming a millionaire off of some pg13 rated photos just seems like a nice bonus.
