I think something to the effect of "hi grandma and grandpa" but I don't speak German.

Translation of the initial RTL story:
[img]On Saturday June 26, a spectator waving her sign during the first stage of the Tour de France caused the fall of dozens of riders in the peloton. The deputy director of the Tour, Pierre-Yves Thouault, then announced that the management of the Tour was filing a complaint against the person in charge. She was arrested and placed in police custody in Landerneau , according to our information.
Saturday, in the middle of the afternoon, 45 kilometers from the finish of the first stage Brest and Landerneau, a spectator who wanted to show her cardboard sign on television was deported on the road. Result: the German Jumbo-Visma rider, Tony Martin, crashed into the sign before taking the whole peloto to the ground . Injured, the German Jasha Sütterlin (DSM), had to retire.
On Sunday, the Finistère gendarmerie announced the opening of a judicial investigation for " involuntary injuries with incapacity not exceeding three months by manifestly deliberate violation of an obligation of safety or prudence". A call for witnesses had been launched to find the spectator.
This risks for the facts of which it is accused a fine of 1,500 euros . On the other hand, the penalty would be increased if the German rider who retired decided to file a complaint in his turn.[/img]

It is a mix of French and German.
Allez means "go" in French and use in sorts as the typical "go team". Opi-Omi is like mawmaw and pawpaw. She was giving a shoutout to her grandparents who may have been watching her frick up the tour from home.

NBCSN announcers on the TdF broadcast apparently just said the woman is in custody
she could face up to a year in jail on charges similar to someone running onto the field at a soccer match and hitting a player

Didn't Pierce Brosnan essentially do this in Goldeneye
. How there are fans at these cycle events is beyond me, especially after they act when they ride on highways and try to beat up cars in NYC.

I was going to ask fingerprints from the sign and maybe DNA from the sign and jacket

She has to be German, she tried to wipe out an entire race.

They won't do shite to her. She will.end up getting paid. The competition had NO barriers, painted lines, signage, etc. Public roads closed to vehicle traffic besides their own. No restrictions on signs or any other noise devices, etc
They can't prove intent on her part to actually cause a crash.(that we are aware of)
Bottom line, they expect fans to police themselves therefore there are no enforced rules, the tour simply doesn't put enough resources out there.
She was dumb, for sure. But to file suit against her, they better have done all they could to prevent this....and we all know they didn't

You know, that one time a couple months back when Tadej Pogacar was weaving in and out of traffic in NYC, bashing car windows with a hammer.

The bicyclists should have been more careful riding on the road. I fault them for this accident because if they had been more attentive they wouldn't have hit the woman or her sign.
