Anyone who has the ability to kidnap a 6 year old and kill them (if that is what happened) they do not deserve to live.

Looks like it's possible the perp took care of that already.

It said she was last seen playing in the front yard before she went missing.
That is the reason I don’t let my 6 year old play alone in the front yard. I don’t even let her walk home from school even though our house is less than 50 yards from it. Literally right next door. My wife walks to her and walks her back. Same for taking her to school. And we are in a very safe area. I don’t trust anyone when it comes to my kids.

Then, you know, don't be against the death penalty?

Some people deserve to lose their life for the things they've done.

The daily mail link certainly makes it seem as though there is suspicion surrounding the family.

quote:

Authorities gave an update on the investigation Thursday morning. At that time, police said they had towed two cars from the home where the child lived.

Sgt Evan Antley with the Cayce Department of Public Safety confirmed that the vehicles were removed from the home but didn't share details of anything that 'may or may not have been found in those vehicles'.

The sergeant also confirmed that officers had searched Faye's home 'multiple times'.

I can't even imagine having to deal with a child being murdered.

There was no need for an Amber Alert in this case. The cops said pretty quickly that there was no signs of an abduction.

I may be mistaken here, but since when does an Amber alert require "signs of an abduction"? Isn't a child that's missing enough to issue it?

I have a lot of respect for John Walsh.

He’s been through it and helped a lot of people.

Because they go off in the middle of the night for someone who went missing 300 miles away. That is not an exagerration. Narrow the geographic range and exclude custody disputes unless there's some indication the child is in imminent danger.

In fairness, by the time your phone goes off they might actually be 300 miles away. That's a little over 4 hours at interstate speed.

In the article linked it mentions that signs of an abduction must be there in order to issue an Amber alert.

I'm much more accepting of a distant Amber alert, than I am of the recent "Flood warning" alerts I got this past week.
