I'm wondering if the rate of fatalities or at least injuries is higher per capita with pit bulls than guns.

So I'm confused. They were attacked by a pit bull and the only injury was to his son who got knocked over while they were tussling with the dog?

Good friend of mine tried to tell his son and DIL they needed to get rid of their two pits when their son was born. Long story short, one of the pits snapped at the infant, thank God the dad was able to pull it back before it was able to do any damage. The POS dogs where taken to a remote area in the woods and dealt with.
