So my 11yo daughter started 6 grade yesterday and didn't have Pottery Barn locker wallpape

Seriously WTF is this shite??
every fricking mom apparently got to the school early and put up pottery barn teen marble wallpaper and mirrors & fricking CHANDELIERS and shite.

i sent her to school with crayons and a pencil holder. She came home very sad so now I guess dad needs to buy something for her locker.

it isn't necessary, but it is either buy some cheap wallpaper and magnetic picture frames from hobby lobby or let your daughter become a stripper

We had a locker practice night last month....the number of moms up there decorating their kids lockers while their kid stood back and watched was in SANE. We don't have enough hobbies nor enough real shite to worry about in our current society. We've got it too good.

Or not. Flip it into a life lesson about not being a follower, not trying to keep up with the Jones', being her own person. Tape up a magazine picture of the current teenage celebrity crush or favorite athlete like we all did.
