Fixer Upper looks like they have moved on to school lockers.

Kids use lockers? We used to just put all of our books in a booksack and carry it around everywhere. Nothing like slinging the whole 30-40 lb bag against the wall when your put it down for lunch.

Yeah at my kids' schools, they're not allowed to carry their backpacks around all day, so they have to go their locker between each period to swap out books/supplies.

We rarely used them when I was in school.

Don't just run out to Pottery Barn. I bet you can find some great deals on Prime.

Be a great dad and get something for her locker. Not like the shite in the locker photo but something. Girls that age (I was one once) liked stuff like shelves and a mirror in our locker. But the wallpaper and chandelier is just dumb.

My mom didnt decorate my locker, I did. But do something even on a small level and your daughter will love you for it, trust me.

You haven’t even the S that you soon will.
I would try booking The Black Keys or whatever band you can get for her Sweet 16 done in Aruba.

If CAD has his way she'll get vintage 1980s wallpaper and a smart chandelier than turns on when she opens the door

Probably get these same day delivery on Amazon and have them up by first period tomorrow.

That was my thought too. My daughter was in 6th grade last year and they didn't have crayons and glue sticks any longer

Last month my nephew was planning his bells and whistles production to ask a girl to homecoming. I blame the Pinterest Moms for this....

Then the OP is definitely fricked. The kid will soon be demanding backsplash and granite countertops for the locker...

All of the girls at my son's middle school get together a day or two before school starts to decorate their lockers.

Yeah, but that's normal. The girls getting together to do stuff and tell each other how awesome they are and then later talking shite about each other's lockers behind backs is the natural order of things. The precise activity doesn't really matter. shite like that is how girls that age socialize.

It's the parents getting involved that makes it fricking weird.
