re: Yahoo "people are turning towards ARMs for home loans" highest since 2008 - AUjim
And now people chime in with how it makes sense for them EXCEPT for it absolutely doesnt because they wont be able to refinance or sell their house that they owe 370k on that is only worth 340k....

Yeah...I've been looking for 2 years solid. A decent one at a decent price just doesn't come up all that often. I'm not even that picky about color matching ...

re: New/Used Boat. 40k budget - AUjim
MorningWood
I think you're absolutely right.... I'll likely sink a few bucks into upgrading mine over the next couple months. I have a cooler seat that I think I'd like to replace with a leaning post. AND...my front depth finder went out last year, I could certainly justify repl...

re: Wakeboard bindings - quick/easy question - AUjim
I was real interested in wakeskating...but answer me this... My kid is 14 and relatively athletic and coordinated. He is an absolute beginner and has only even attempted wakeboarding once, but that one time he got super interested and has pretty much outgrown the joy of our tube. I don't see h...

Wakeboard bindings - quick/easy question - AUjim
I've found 2 used ones I like for my kid on FB. Kid wears a size 8 shoe, bindings for these are 10/12. Is that going to be so big that it will be prohibitive, or should we be able to cinch those down enough to make it work. We aren't pros by any stretch...first timers who want to give it a shot....

re: Carolina Skiff 21LS - quality/handling/motor questions - AUjim
Cruising at 30 would be fine and dandy. We've got a 19ft center console bay boat that does just fine for our needs. This seems to be a little bigger and not one of those typical flat bottom Carolina Skiffs that just seem like they would slap so hard. ...

Carolina Skiff 21LS - quality/handling/motor questions - AUjim
Anybody own a newer one of these? Spec and layout-wise, I really like these. 98% of our usage is family riding a lake that can get pretty big from time to time during the summer...probably not toledo bend white cap big, but big enough we gotta be careful. Does it handle chop well? What...

re: $6.8 billion in students loans dismissed - AUjim
Yeah....this is a program that preceded any of our current student loan debt erasing talk. Folks have to have taken out federal direct loans from the government (basically 2008 or later), work in a public service position at a qualified employer, and made 10 years of consecutive payments. ...
