I grew up in rural Vermilion parish in an unincorporated community that probably had a population of less than 50 people (Andrew, LA).

Largest was New Orleans, 390k population (1.27m metro).

Current is Lafayette, 127k population (~500k metro).

Actually sanatarium MS but no one should know where that was. It was a state hospital, street and post office.
