That mom who started the thread here not long ago needs to be prime suspect #1 - someone definitely needs to let the authorities know about it. Shouldn't they be able to see the ip address it originated from?

That would be cool if her thread on here led to an arrest

And yes I agree. That poster should be suspect #1. Very suspicious timing that thread just a couple days ago and now this

How do you know? I'm genuinely curious. Do you have proof or strong evidence that she didn't or do you just "believe" she didn't.

I know you’re trying to be THAT guy. I guess nobody REALLY knows. I think it’s easily explained as a hack job, and not some woman just randomly deciding to be openly racist on social media after decades of, you know, not being openly racist?

You’re subsequent posts show that you aren’t exactly posting without bias.

In 2025? Maybe in 2015.

It’s no secret, even to old people, that people get shitcanned all the time for making politically incorrect comments on social media.

Hell I bet facebook boomers are even more aware than your average person about getting in trouble for being “edgy” on facebook.

The thread got whacked but that's the first thing I thought of.

First she comes on here trying to stir up baseless rumors (but the OT called her out and she retreated.)

And now a woman with no history of such comments and a ton to lose just goes and throws out the hard-R on a public news page?

How do you sink a public figure? Make it seem like they said the verboten word.

The moronic mob won't care about the truth or logic and will call out for blood and the feckless administration will cave and punish her because they don't want the bad publicity.

Whoever did this should be severely punished because this shite ruins people's lives.

Gets mad people are making assumptions, makes a massive assumption about an entire group of people in a geographical area.

Absolutely, she could also legitimately be a closeted racist boomer from AP who slipped up and did something stupid on the internet.

Terrible framing...which is MOST LIKELY to be true?

1. A likely relatively intelligent person decided to go online and use the big no-no word.

2. It was someone else.

Heavy odds on #2 imo

That legit looks like a hack. She needs to hire some kind of internet PI. Somebody’s trying to ruin this person.

This is absurd. Unless Mrs. Bell drinks way more heavily than anyone suspects, hacking/someone accessing her device is the only logical explanation. She’s nearly a celebrity in Ascension, she’s so well known. Damn near every Facebook friend I have over the age of 65 seems to be hacked on a weekly basis.

Teach your parents about multi factor authentication.

If people in other areas of the country can feel comfortable enough to discuss their lgbtq+-×÷= lifestyle with their elementary age students, then i see no reason that a teacher in the South can't use the N word on social media. Which one is really more detrimental?

But also, I don't care. I don't use profanity, but that word is used so often by black people that I'm completely numb to it. It's never shocking when I hear the n word because I hear it all throughout music, tv shows, radio shows, even sporting events. If black people truly found that word to be offensive they would stop using it.

You wouldn’t condone that logic with a child, so why do you use it as an adult with adults.

Are you a child or less than that?

Or is it something else?

I’d be absolutely stunned. She has been a band teacher/director for around 50 years. One of my kids was in the band while she was Director. He and I know her well. This would be shocking and totally out of character. I don’t believe she would say this, but we will find out. The only way we may not find out is if she says “screw it” I’m retiring I don’t need the headache.

Not worth my brain cells but why would anyone waste energy going to bat for her?

She’s a replaceable, low skilled, nasty, bigoted, old band teacher that uses bad language. Nothing remarkably special about her. I guess she’s someone’s “grandma.” Oh well, she’s not worth the heat or trouble. Fire her and move on. The long term ramifications are not worth it. Let her go be around her tribe or elk where that language is okay. We live in 2025 here, not 1935. They can stay there, right where they want to be.

The rest of us good natured folks will go elsewhere.

I’d say this if was something else. Why do we waste our time on people like this? As a Christian, I do believe in forgiveness and do believe we should have it in us…but honestly God forgives, we don’t have to.

Good riddance, our world is better off without malice and animus filled negative people like this. Let’s move on
