OT, what would you suggest in this situation?

Your husband should have handled this before you could ask the OT

Getting arrested and potential felony charges while spending the night in jail on Christmas isn't exactly a smart strategy

In this entire post, I see nothing referencing anyone handling him.

You yell at your sister, stop your husband from manning up?

Wtf is all this?

I would explain to the kids to remember this moment. And ask them if they liked how that guy made them feel. I'd remind them that maybe magic isn't real in the fairy-tale sense, but it's still real enough. And that people like him steal magic from the world. They can choose to be someone like him, or be someone who believes in magic, and makes the world a better place.

My mom also had Santa ruined for her so they never pushed that narrative on us bc she was really crushed by it. It left a mark.

But you can still salvage it EVEN IF you tell them Santa is real, but not in the way they know. Shoot, even tell them about the real Saint Nicholas in a cool way.

A baited hook everyone bit on. Taking to the internet to ask about relatively simple interpersonal issues. My guess…op was watching a Christmas story

Seriously, OP. Your whole family is a bunch of pussies. At the very minimum, he's getting his arse tossed out, DJ Jazzy Jeff style.

It's yall fault for allowing him to stay there.

Oh hell no. I hope he's gone by now. If he isn't, I do not normally advocate pulling the grandkids card, but I think it is time to play it. Tell your parents it's him or their grandbabies. If he's visiting from out of town, give him $50 and direct him to the nearest Motel 6. That pos has no business being around kids.

Honestly if this is real I’d let turn your husband loose. Some people need a good arse kicking.

People try to act like they can outsmart the system but there's a victim who will call the cops in this scenario which means the person will get arrested 100%.

Your dad should have beat his arse since you wouldn’t let your husband handle it.

Why haven’t your parents kicked his arse out of their house after that?

You need to have a sit down heart to heart talk with your sister about why she dates bums and losers. If you don’t wake her up now it’ll only get worse and there’s no telling what kind of trash she’ll bring home in the future. She’s headed down the road to single mom ville the path she’s on right now. Save her while you can.
