Pope is a political office and you don’t get there by being “holy” or infallible at anything but politics. If you look at its history, not sure any of them have been “holy”. Just really good at covering up their human tendencies.

Thanks for letting us all know that your music opinions suck.

Changing names repeatedly? Personality disorder with no sense of self.

Not a fan either.
She has been near the top of the celebrity attention whoring over the years in a wide range of ways.
She credited Madonna as a great woman and it was her idol
She had 4 husband's and 5 partners then came out as lesbian. The 9 partners all had wee wees. Interesting
No need to discuss pope incident.

Perfectly said….I didn’t agree with a lot of her views (none), but she channeled her emotion to her singing and I liked that. Yet another entertainer from my youth gone…

Wow…about a year for each. “Difficult to live with” looks like an understatement

She could sing better than most every auto tuned pop singer since the 90s, Brittney Spears included.
Being talented doesn't necessarily equate to popularity or number of big hits.
There's probably a handful of church choir singers here in Central Alabama that are immensely talented at singing.

She had a lot of these. Pretty crazy childhood if I recall. Wasn't she abused by her parents? And her religious life was pretty... I guess. unstable

t's always "he should have done more" or "he should have known," and these assertions rest on a combination of old letters and accusations from very flawed people... flawed because they were molested, perhaps, but still not the kind of people I just accept accusations from without question. I'd also suggest that there are more false accusations of male-on-male sexual abuse than people imagine. The whole Jerry Sandusky thing kind of unravels if you look hard enough at it, for example... and not only is Sandusky rotting in prison, Joe Paterno was hounded into an early grave over it- over covering up for something that didn't happen.
All of this. The culture of extortion and litigation is out of control.

People will down vote you, but he actually was not a good person. Same with their revered Mother Teresa. Women was a selfish money grubber that put up a good facade and they made her a saint.
Typical religious zealots. Our guy is perfect.

I know a lot more about that situation but can’t say due to HIPPA involving someone from my past who I don’t want to jeopardize.
Nice, so you protect a person that violated another person’s HIPAA rights to tell a buddy a verb story. Nice.

I wasn't a fan of her music or her disturbing behavior.
But I believe it's always tragically sad when someone chooses to throw away the gift of life.
