when I worked at Olive Garden in college they had a guy that would beg at the light every day. I'd sneak some food out for him as much as I could.....until I was late to work one day and saw that fricker park a brand new chevy colorado across the street. I told him to frick off that afternoon

One of the guys walked up to my window and tried to talk to me. It's bad enough I have to look at them.

Same shite on College Drive, but you have your regulars and your imported panhandlers there.

Every day on College, it's like some Shakespearian drama going on with these guys. The insane guy with the twisted leg in a wheelchair holds up signs about how he wants a blow job to cars passing by... random druggies wander across six lanes of traffic without looking... a fight breaks out between a bum on one corner who's angry at another bum dragging a suitcase, who's apparently infringing on his territory. Wandering hippies with a dog play the guitar (sort of) for change on the on-ramp.

I wish I could just sweep them up with a bulldozer Soylent Green-style and deposit them somewhere. Like Port Allen. They would be back on College within an hour, though.

I pull up and honk my horn at the ones sleeping under the trees behind the racetrac on Siegen when I stop for lunch at subway.

It's noon. Even for gutter punks that is too late to be sleeping.

the 2 who seem to take turns on industriplex and siegen are a special kind of filthy.

I used to see a guy like that in Charlotte. He was always at the same red light for rush hour traffic in the afternoon. Came through one day and saw him getting in a fairly new Cadillac and driving off.
