Assuming this thread is factual I can only imagine the blacks doing it as a kind of way to insult southern democrats

What? The democrat party told me this wasn't possible in the systemically racist US.

This reminds me of city kids who wear a baseball hat that is cocked a quarter turn to the side. I guess they trying to make a personal statement...I'm different.

And ChatGTP says...

quote:

Some people display a Confederate battle flag license plate sideways as a way to alter or reinterpret its symbolism. The exact reasoning can vary depending on the individual, but here are some common explanations:

Rebellion or Defiance – The Confederate battle flag itself is often associated with rebellion. Displaying it sideways could be an intentional act of further defiance, either against authority, political correctness, or historical interpretations.

Distancing from Racism – Some people claim that turning the flag sideways changes its meaning, distancing it from racist connotations while still showing Southern pride or heritage.

Symbolic Change – Some argue that a sideways flag represents distress or a break from its traditional associations, much like how an upside-down national flag can symbolize distress.

Personal Preference – Others may simply like the way it looks or think it makes their vehicle stand out.

Given the complex and controversial history of the Confederate battle flag, different people may interpret the sideways display in various ways, ranging from heritage and pride to protest or even irony.

Blacks will probably become the only people who will be allowed to display the confederate flag.

What is the term for when blacks try to claim they get power by appropriating or taking over something they consider racist and turning it into a black only deal?

Or maybe they are just embracing their confederate ancestors.

The problem is it isn't even always income disparity in Louisiana. I was talking to a black guy the other day who's in his fifties he lives behind the seafood place on Plank Road. That is a terrible neighborhood. This guy makes 150 plus a year, drives an old truck, just him and his wife with no kids.

She's retired from the state, they could literally live anywhere in Louisiana, instead they live in one of the worst areas in the country. It makes no sense to me.

A new family moved into the neighborhood recently, and they have sideways Confederate flag license plates on the front of their cars.

Obviously they are "scratch off" lottery winners and invested their winnings on a home without wheels. The "sideways" tags make them boojie in their minds.

True. However liberals and the MSM media bashed a sitting US Supreme Court Justice for his wife displaying an upside flag, which was done bc a neighbor’s adult son & son wife moved in and began verbally berating the Justice’s wife.

They may think they are but they have very thin skin if that’s the case. OP needs to fly the flag facing the correct way in his front yard.
