Just clear up your comment with context, DJT’s retaliatory tariffs are a direct result to China’s theft of American intellectual property that causes an estimated annual loss between $225 - $600 billion. It’s about damn time an American administration starts, you know, standing up and protecting American interests.

True. However liberals and the MSM media bashed a sitting US Supreme Court Justice for his wife displaying an upside flag, which was done bc a neighbor’s adult son & son wife moved in and began verbally berating the Justice’s wife.

Now you know ole ChodeButtPoked is currently big mad after lil bayou university of lower learning just eliminated a SEC team (Texas). Feel sorry for his dogs that he’ll most definitely take out his anger on as a result.

Because those day games are brutal and draining. Attended the Cajuns first two College Station games and I had no desire to attend the UT game this afternoon. My unapologetic white self can only be exposed to so much vitamin D in such a short period of time

re: Do you legitimately enjoy your job?
Posted by BraveCajun on 5/1/24 at 4:52 pm to turnpiketiger
Our soft arse 1st world society has sold the false premise there’s a decent chance of obtaining a career / job you’ll love in adulthood. Bullshite.
Personally I can attest that I don’t legitimately hate my job. Had previous jobs that I genuinely loathed and would curse the gawds every morning prior to commuting to said employment. Over the last decade and half, I can honestly say that I don’t hate my job and more often than not enjoy it.
There’s less than 1% of 1% of individuals who truly love their jobs / careers. And I imagine the majority of those folks quasi retired individuals who’re employed just to be busy or have a reason to wake up every morning so they found a gig that aligns with their hobbies.

re: Turkey Creek is apparently the worst city in Louisiana
Posted by BraveCajun on 4/13/24 at 3:33 pm to finchmeister08
Used ride dirt bikes in Turkey Creek in my youth. That area had some of the most challenging and grueling trails. However my father always refused to camp over night when we rode the trails, which was weird because we did so everywhere we rode; forest hills, sand dunes, etc. Never made sense till we ran into some locals in the middle of the woods. Don’t really remember the specifics bc I was around 10-11 years old but things went sideways very quickly. My old man ended up pulling his 357 and demanded I take off in order to load my bike onto the trailer.
My dad’s only explanation was that we had encountered the LA version of deliverance hillbilly folks.

re: PSA - Audi sucks
Posted by BraveCajun on 3/11/24 at 9:39 pm to KwoodTiger
Own a 2019 Audi SQ5 and ran into to several of the issues mentioned in this thread. Replacing the brakes and one rotor without any warnings despite the Audi rotors supposedly having sensors to notify the driver whenever the pads are wearing thin. After the brake job, I damn near shat 6 quarts of oil due to a cracked oil filter housing unit. The Audi dealership wanted nearly $4k for parts and labor to replace. Found a local dealership to allow me to purchase my own parts and only charged me $800 for labor.
Despite all that crap, this suv is by far handles and rides better than any domestic suv. The Audi SQ5 even outperformed Cayenne that I owned for 2 years..
Btw domestics have their own fn issues bc I had numerous issues with my 14 f150

Brian Mitchell from college qb to nearly every position in the NFL (KR, PR, RB, WR, DB, & QB). Finished his nfl career with most yards gained; only to be eclipsed by Jerry Rice. Think he still holds over 6 - 7 nfl records.

The most recent and only team to represent Louisiana in March Madness last year, who is coincidentally nationally known as Louisiana Ragin Cajuns, still have a chance to secure a ticket to the big dance.

Wrong. POTUS can significantly alter how asylum claims are processed. While potus can’t unilaterally deny all asylum claims, he can force seekers to await the immigration process outside of the US and automatically deny any asylum seeker who sneaks across the border. This authority is known as title 42 which Brandon suspended on day one of his administration.
Plus the patriot act gives potus unilaterally authority to secure the nation’s borders if it’s a national security risk; which the fentanyl epidemic and organized crime from south of the border can easily be argued as a national security threat.
Do you have anymore easily disproven claims to make in order to protect potus senile?

Your factoid is only short by 1.9 million people. In addition to 3mm “asylum seekers”, you can add the estimated multiple of gotaways, dreamers, the dreamers’ parents, and plus the untold millions of people that are unaccounted for living stateside. You’re either intentionally being ignorant or just outright delusional if you believe the number “undocumented” or illegal immigrates living in the US has remain stagnant at 11mm.
