People like Brian Stelter should be stalked and discredited publicly to the point they’re fearful to be out in public. Let alone still spreading their lies via the MSM.

While this meta-analysis concludes that lockdowns have had little to no public health effects, they have imposed enormous economic and social costs where they have been adopted. In consequence, lockdown policies are ill-founded and should be rejected as a pandemic policy instrument.
These are the last two sentences in their abstract. They are direct and unequivocal.

Govt mandates were a disaster. Anyone think we’ve learned any lessons that will be applied in future outbreaks? I’m guessing, no.

Its what got us in this mess in the first place. Democrat leaders falling over one another to lock down for two weeks then a month. Mayors and governors couldn’t help but take the chance and “look” like they were taking action, consequences be damned.
I posted this in another thread, but it definitely applies here too:
Everything political is about optics. Nothing is ever about doing the right thing or making shite better for the people these a-hole politicians serve. Everything is about appeasing the largest group of people to secure votes and peacocking around like our country has its shite together
NEWSFLASH:
We don’t. Our country is a mess right now with ZERO credible leadership, and it’s not getting any better any time soon
