Keeping weed illegal is a big part of our economy. We pay a zillion law officers, prisons, jails, judges, probation officers. etc. etc. to enforce the stupid law. It's Big Business.

Yep. For a sub par product. Sorry buddy. Open air grows are a thing of the past. They are slowly dying out.

Natural grows and sub par products will increase with full legality.

Don't be obtuse.

Dude. No one. And I mean no one. Wants to smoke Reggie.

And no, natural grows will not increase with legalization as its a frick ton more profitable to have indoor grows.

Far easier to control. Far easier to get the product that is desired.

Like, totally. That's why all crops are grown indoors.

Not arguing that.

If anything, that's an indication of how popular marijuana legalization has become. It's not just a social issue anymore.

In comparison to hydro? Yeah.

Quite a bit of difference between marijuana strains that require extremely specific conditions to flourish and your everyday outdoor crop.

Nope. You're just arguing that hydro strands would flourish just as well outside as they do inside. And that just simply isn't the case.

Sorry man. But when it comes to marijuana, outdoor grows just aren't worth it.

Why? Because of this dip shite

Attorney General Jeff Sessions says his goal for 2018 is to see a further decline in prescriptions of opioids, and says, "we think a lot of this is starting with marijuana and other drugs."

It is almost comical, if not for being so sad.

There are a lot more conservatives who are pro legalization than you think.

True, but they bow down to the "anti-conservative" conservatives.

Over half of registered republicans support legalization

This issue is just a highlight of the gap between us and our reps once they get to D.C.

I would have agreed with this a couple years ago but the poli board has lost some of its libertarian bent. The last few threads I've seen have been 50/50, too close to call.

Yeah the Trump folks kinda chased off some of the regulars, but it's still pro legalization.

Mr. Sessions and the DOJ not exactly helping helping the cause. May potentially have to wait until another administration comes in

It's absolutely trending more towards anti-legalisation over the last few years.

And looking at that thread a lot of opposers seem to say that they oppose it because it makes people "dumb" (lol so conservative) and that it's a drain on society etc etc. Totally ignoring the fact that the most prominent legal states (CO, WA and CA) are in the top 10 just about every single year in GDP growth, unemployment and population growth since legalizing.

Obviously legal weed isn't the causation of that, but you'd think those states were falling into absolute ruin if virtually anything those posters believed was actually true.

I love the mental gymnastics that occur after I ask someone who is against legalization "so why should alcohol be legal then?"
