And the "regulate and tax" crowd are stupid mother frickers.

Yep. I don't want to use legalization as leverage for a new form of taxation. The government takes too much of my money already.

Freedom is pretty goddamned important. I don't smoke, but I don't support the nanny state either

There is a great deal of social cost that is associated with marijuana being illegal and the war on drugs in general. If you don't get why that bothers people then there is no helping you.

if you want a serious non biased answer

big drug companies would lose billions of dollars, that is why.

weed is a better and cheaper to buy pain reliever then opioids with out the negative side affects or addictive qualities.

weed is also a better and cheaper to buy muscle relaxer with out the negative side affects or addictive qualities.

it also has hundreds of other qualities that would replace half if not more of all prescribed medicines sold today.

if weed was legal it would literally bankrupt most of the large pharmaceutical companies, they would go out of business but profits would be cut it half or more overnight if weed was an option instead of taking all their expensive pills with side affects often worse then what is actually wrong with you that you need the pills for.

Pharma companies couldn’t just try to develop medicines based on weed?

That’s the same thinking behind the tobacco industry, but we all know they would probably be ready to transition as soon as it would be legal.

Motherfrickers, the three tier method is bullshite. Big time producers still run the show, the distributor is a speed bump to some of them.

The best is when the “conservatives” say things like this

Trust me, I get why it bothers people, because I’ve read the 10,000 other threads about it.

I'm never worried about my stash having shite sprayed on it, but it would be nice to be able to pick out exactly what I want(indica vs sativa). Personally I'm a big indica guy.

Politics board always seemed pro-marijuana as a whole. Libertarian views are pretty commonplace.
