I have no problem shitting on evangelical/establishment republicans, but dems had a super majority not too long ago and did nothing. Obama had the opportunity to at least reclassify it (I think? Correct me if I'm wrong) and didn't.

Ok, then: Legalize it but drug test for welfare benefits. (I know, alcohol, blah blah. We can’t go back and require alcohol testing. We could require testing instead of giving YOUR paycheck to the stoners.)

It's sensationalism at it's finest. There's people in the government spending $10,000 in taxpayer money on fking curtains for their office. If you can demonize the poor as the reason for government waste, then the rich can get away with whatever they want while no one is looking.

When you haven't wasted enough taxpayer money...
Either have welfare/social safety net benefits or don't, but arguing that weed should be legal but also preclude you from some government service available to everyone else seems nonsensical. We should be removing bureaucracy, not adding to it

Plenty of people hold high-level jobs and smoke weed regularly.
Plus, that shite stays in your system for 30-90 days. Billy Bob shouldn't get punished because he got laid off 30 days ago but the shite is still floating around in his system if it's legal. I don't know why people hate freedom so much.
