she won't edge or weedeat
That thing weighs a ton - so my husband and sons do that. I’ll push the mower all day.

You gotta get that 4-stroke walk behind. I got too much edging to do on a corner lot.

I truly in my entire life can’t say I have ever seen a woman out mowing the yard
Saw it once a few years ago. Oldest was only a few months old and I was going to cut the grass. Wife bitched that she wanted to go for a walk. Told her she could walk behind the mower. Was the first, and last, time she cut the grass

Confession: I don’t use the edger every time I mow. Maybe every other time.
The string trimmer, leaf blower, and the mower get used every time though.

I have an ex gf that loves outdoor lawn and landscaping stuff. She got a degree in it and last I knew she was the Landscaping Department Head at a pretty good sized midwestern community college system for the campuses all around town.
When we dated she didn't want me tending to the yardwork at all. Part of my job for the bank at the time meant traveling to the branch locations and I would sometimes see the GF on a riding mower or weedeating a campus as I drove by.

My wife wanted to surprise me by "helping" with the lawn one weekend while I was at work.
Came home to a half-mown lawn because she ran over a crape myrtle stump and bent the shaft on my brand new mower.

My wife will do the weed eating. She is more thorough than I am with it.

Hell no. She rode around on the zero turn for 30 minutes and I needed new blades.
Mine is banned from the self propelled. When she cuts the yard, it looks like Stevie Wonder did it.

I see older ladies mowing the lawn in my small, rural hometown whenever i'm there. I figure their husbands are doing work a lot and they either don't work or are teachers or something.
