Jesus.
First they want to segregate black people into their own 'safe spaces', tell them they're not smart enough to make the same grades white kids make and now they're taking halloween away.
you cant make this stuff up.

So instead of addressing the problem they just want to hide it. You know what the solution is, make sure they're more included so they don't feel "marginalized" by the holiday as they claim.
This was like when San Diego decided to go away from giving out traditional A-F grades and decided to not penalize work if it was turned in late to "combat racism." Instead of addressing the actual problem - how do they make sure minority kids perform better in schools - they just take the easy way out and change the system to try and hide it all together by getting rid of tangible metrics that makes the schools look bad.
I’m sorry, there is no problem here. These people are self loathing white supremacists, and they think extremely racist things about other races. And if a minority steps out of line and contradicts what they tell them to do, they’ll say words that will make a klansman say tone it down.

So rather than including everyone they cancel for everyone. Stellar.

Imagine being a black kid and basically getting the blame for not having Halloween at school
If I was the parent of a black child, I’d be calling up the local news calling the principal and school board a bunch of racists for suggesting that black kids don’t like dressing up and free candy.

Black families would drive 30 minutes and drop their kids off in my neighborhood growing up, then just go park on the outskirts and wait for them to be done every year.

There is trouble in the forest
And the creatures all have fled
As the maples scream "Oppression"
And the oaks just shake their heads
So the maples formed a union
And demanded equal rights
"The oaks are just too greedy
We will make them give us light"
Now there's no more oak oppression
For they passed a noble law
And the trees are all kept equal
By hatchet, axe, and saw
And the creatures all have fled
As the maples scream "Oppression"

shite more black kids come to my neighborhood for Halloween than white kids most years.
That's how it is in my area. Large groups of kids get dropped off, get their candy and move onto the next neighborhood. They definitely celebrate Halloween hard here. They don't play

Glad my daughter goes to a Catholic school in Seattle where they are allowing costumes and having a Halloween party.

Now do black history month and white kids.

You truly cannot make this stuff up. I have only been to Seattle once & the people there are the most rude & miserable people I have ever encountered in this country.

Apparently the black kids in Baton Rouge didn't get the memo on not celebrating b/c they bus them into my neighborhood for trick-or treating.

In Seattle you could just get a shirt that says this and just be right all the time.

I just looked it up. The state of Washington black population is 4.4%.
It must suck to live in a state that thinks they know more about what black folk want than the black folk.
The only kids that didn't celebrate Halloween were Jehovah Witness and they got picked on because of it.
Oh, I think there were a group of Pentecostal kids who wasn't much into Halloween either. But they used to keep to themselves
I remember there were Pentecostal kids in the advanced classes and they would be one of the smartest kids in class, but they would live a very traditional life after graduating. Get married, start families, husband worked, the wife cooked and raised the kid. And I used to always wonder what was the point in getting good grades if it wasn't going to be used for anything. Why not just do the bare minimum to graduate so they would have more time to frick off, but thinking about it now, I guess fricking off would have been a sin or something.
